It's simple really...
You close your eyes you can't see
but you can feel
Feel the wind blowing past
Feel the ground beneath your feet.
Feel the dirt between your fingers as you crouch to the ground...
love works the same way.
You become blind and follow what you feel, not what you see.
It's a shame really.
Becoming blind
You lose the sense of self when you do.
You eventually forget what you see.
You forget the beauty of the art because you can no longer see the beautiful brush strokes agaisnt the canvas.
Alls you can feel is the texture against the grain.
Sometimes there are smooth spots along the paint.
They feel nice...
Then there's the rough spots
The rough brush strokes.
It's awful not seeing the painting.
You feel these smooth and rough spots and have no idea what you're looking at.
The painting could be the most beautiful thing in the world, or it could be the worst painting of your life.
But how are you to know?
That's just it. You aren't..

The painting I was once looking at had a lot of rough texture... It had an an unruly amount.
A Vincent Van Gogh painting.
Such rough texture yet a beautiful creation.
I'm glad I'm able to see once again...
I don't want to become blind.
I won't become blind again.

I won't let you make me blind anymore. I won't let you take the colors away, I won't let you break my spirit.

It's simple.


Love won't blind me. I'll feel and see the painting.
